    Collapse Panel in Vista...

I am adding this here rather than the V3 bugs section as I think it is something that should be fixed in V4.  Keep in mind that I use the GDI+ version of Kodigo (still listed as the beta I think).  When I am running my application in XP the collapse panel works fine.  When running in Vista, the collapse panel "works" in that it will pop out when I hover over the collapsed icon, but when I move the mouse off and it collapses back, the redraw is all messed up and it shows all messed up (See Image):

    Re: Collapse Panel in Vista...

This looks like a bug in AnimateWindow function in Vista. It looks like some people are having issues with this in Vista as well.

And apparently, ComponentOne may also have an issue.

I will continue searching for a fix via the AnimateWindow route. If no solution is available, I may have to look into implementing the animation using timers.

Thanks for the heads up, Grismare.

    Hi || Yeyi || Grismare ||

First of all Hats off to Yeyi! What a superb work he has done. Wow I love it. I was the fan of Kodigo since early days.

I have encountered this problem in Vista while creating an application for my project, What i did was I have added an SetReDraw(True) in the code. Later it went fine.

But still the that bar would for a second and later it disappears because of setredraw function.

I hope I have provided a temporary relief for that and the rest Mr. Yeyi will do.

    Thankx.

    Regards

    Premji

Brad's AdvancedGUI has a control called Buttonlistbar. I don't see anything like that in your version 3. Will it be on your todo list?

Have you seen the Felix FlxSuite? It is by a company in France. The look is very good but it is for sale. I contacted them about a year ago and it was around $800 US for all the controls. You can download a demo program from the website:

    Premji,

Thanks bud, that is a very workable solution and it works great now.  I changed the #AnimationTime time to 1 as well so there isn't even a little bit where it shows the glitch.  I appreciate the help.

Yes, I am alos planning on a ButtonListBar component. But I will finish all existing controls first before tackling non-existing ones

I have also tried FlxSuite and they are quite good. The only thing missing is draw support on resize.

By the time I release the 3rd preview w/c includes 1 control, I will open up a new forum that lists all planned controls for discussion.
